That said, this product does contain vitamin A which is the ingredient in our line that is usually advised against during pregnancy and breastfeeding.Can I layer with the AHA Exfoliating Peel?We normally recommend alternating use of vitamin A (such as retinoids) with alpha hydroxy acids at night rather than layering them as they can over-exfoliate and irritate the skin when used together. Our AHA Exfoliating Peel contains a gentle, yet effective blend of glycolic and lactic acids making it a great option for exfoliation.
